This section includes marches (except for concert marches, which are in the “Band & Orchestra” section) that are used either for pre-screening purposes or during the live audition. Typically, a candidate will not perform an entire march. The audition committee will often provide cuts at their discretion. You will almost always use a Bb trumpet to play a march, but sometimes C trumpet is acceptable.
