U.S. NAVY BAND

Through ceremonies, national and regional tours, public concerts, and recordings, the U.S. Navy Band inspires patriotism, elevates esprit de corps, enhances Navy awareness and public relations, supports recruiting and retention efforts, preserves the Nation’s musical heritage, and projects a positive image at home and abroad. 

U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY BAND

The primary mission of the Naval Academy Band is to provide musical support for the Brigade of Midshipmen, and for official functions of the United States Naval Academy. Additionally, the band represents the Department of the Navy in a musical capacity, promoting community relations and enhancing the Navy's image.

U.S. Navy Fleet Bands

There are 11 official U.S. Navy bands to include nine active-duty fleet bands and two preferentially staffed bands, all featuring professional musicians from around the nation. Each band operates within its own geographic area of responsibility, representing America’s Navy around the world.
